Whether you’re in your early 40s or early 50s, well informed is well armed in the case of hormone change!
‘What the hell is the perimenopause and what can I do about it?’
Well, those were the horrified words (more or less) 7 years ago when a friend suggested that my brain fog, anxiety, insomnia and night sweats were hormone related, rather than just a result of the sleep deprivation induced by a 2 year old with night terrors.
I’ve done a lot of studying and reading since then and it’s no longer a horror show to me but endlessly fascinating. And something I believe all women should know more about, because then we have the power to change our experience of it.
One thing I think is really important is that we understand that we can have some impact on our experience by increasing our understanding of it.
