Woo hoo! It's the end of the first week of January and it is definitely getting lighter in the morning and evening. Although I have had to drag the kids out of bed and back to school this week.
Did you have resolutions that you haven't quite managed to stick to already? Yes, me too. Even though I usually resolve not to make resolutions there's something about a New Year that usually makes me feel like I'm going to transform into a super productive, immensely successful, healthy eating, uber fit domestic goddess!
Unrealistic or what.
What does work is to make those goals. Write them down - not just 'get fit' but the specifics of what you're going to do - a new class, couch25K, run 3 x a week, daily yoga exercises. And treat every day as a new start. If yesterday didn't quite work out, that's fine, today is a great day to start.
