What do you need?

Do you ever ask yourself what you need?

Rather than catering to everyone else's needs first and then ending the day frustrated, tired and out of energy to do anything other than flop?

Challenge yourself

How about challenging yourself to sit quietly for a moment, take a breath, and ask yourself the following question. 

'what do I need in order to have the best day possible today'?

Is it more rest? 

A good conversation? 

A quiet moment to yourself? 

Is it to get some fresh air? 

A glass of water? 

Some exercise? 

An early night?

This is one of the first questions I ask myself each morning, and is often how I start a client session. ‘What do you need from me today?’

Simple. Powerful. Try.

The more connected we are to our needs, the better decisions we can make day by day and hour by hour about our health and wellbeing. As well as our work and those around us.

Honest. 

And sometimes we need help to find out what they are, because we’ve done so much looking after of others’ needs.
